Yes, the laptop is functional, but these issues + experience with warranty honestly leaves me nervous for my laptop once the warranty expires. As a flagship laptop, I was expecting it to last at the longer end of the standard laptop lifetime of around 3-5 years. Keep in mind, I bought this laptop while it was still brand new (a month or two after it released). Overall, I'm thankful I caved and bought an extended warranty, but if I hadn't got it, I believe my laptop would've slowly becoming more and more problematic. The audio is distorted, which is strange because the issue did it exist when I sent it in. Lastly, when I received the laptop today, the AUX audio jack is messed up. Return delivery was delayed 4 times, along with sending text updates to the wrong person (friend of mine). They sent the laptop to the wrong address despite me sending emails to correct it. I finally had an opportunity to send in my laptop to fix the micro SD slot while taking out a loaner laptop from my school job. I ended up giving up and waiting until end of school. Tried to claim warranty, but they made me jump through hoops and were fighting my request for a loaner laptop since I relied on my laptop for school/work. Frustrating as it occured the night a photography assignment I had was due. Skip to Nov 2021, and the buzz and sticky keys came back, along with a nonfunctional micro SD slot. First warranty claim was smooth, but the device came back with a tiny scratch on the speaker. First issues came up with the speaker, which started to buzz, along with keys getting stuck (annoying when gaming). However, I feel like despite it only being 2 years old, it's developed too many issues that I wouldn't have been able to resolve if I hadn't bought an extended warranty. I replied on these programs for school and work, as well as recreation (Discord gaming with friends, etc).

It ran okay with Dead by Daylight on the lowest graphics settings + Maya (3D Software tho). With these specs I have been able to run the Adobe Suite, Unity, Visual Studio, Pro Tools, and Elden Ring pretty smoothly. I opted for Intel Core i7-10750H, 512GB SSD, 16GB RAM, and a NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1650 Ti graphics card. While it served my well through these past two years, especially while my college classes went online, I ultimately will opt for another brand next time. So I have the HP Spectre x360 15' (2020), with the 4K OLED configuration.
